Gluten Free Avocado Cocktail Recipe

I actually found this recipe on my facebook feed from “Food Art,” which I subscribed to ages ago. I’ve have tried to chase the recipe back to the original person but without joy. However it is a delicious recipe that is really healthy (if you don’t add the sugar) and I changed the normal full fat milk to coconut milk instead so whoever came up with this beauty, thank you very much and to my readers, hope you enjoy it! Sorry about the glasses by the way, we’re saving up for some nice ones. These are the only ones we have! 🙂


What you need to know:
Prep time: 15 mins

Ingredients for four half pint (UK) glasses:
2 ripe avocados, try to get ones that are more overripe than under
1 banana
3 tbsp sugar (optional for those with a sweet tooth out there!)
3 tbsp honey
400 ml coconut milk (full fat or light version)
few ice cubes

To decorate:
chopped almonds and pistachios or nuts of your choice
whipped double cream / squirty can cream
honey / caramel to drizzle over the top


1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and runny. If it is too gloopy add more milk until you have a drink-like consistency.

2. Whip the cream if using double cream or shake the squirty can cream ready!

3. Pour avocado cocktail into pretty glasses, top with whipped cream and decorate with nuts and drizzle with honey or make your own caramel and drizzle that on top instead. Serve with a long spoon.  Divine! mmm!
